Thanks for the suggestion but the old quad capacitor was replaced by the new Quad board years ago. I have no way that I can see to correlate the designations on the new board to any of the documentation that I have. The only designations on the new board are Ground, A,B,C,D. I believe they go to the corresponding a,b,c,d on the new M3P board. And the ground goes to the Star Ground.
Thanks anyway,
Richard

I would have to know the values of each section, unless they all measure the same. If they don't then I would have to say the section with the lowest value in UF would go to pin 8 of the rectifier(that really should not be more than about 40UF or so), the next highest value would go after the choke and the last two(if they are equal in value) would go to the last two spots. I would also think you could just match the corresponding letters. And yes, the ground goes to where the center tap of the B+ goes, usually on star ground.
Why did you change the board if there was already an upgraded one in there?
With regards to changing the board. I did the upgrade about 9 years ago and this amp has gone down twice. One time it was nothing more than a resistor but the next time I had to send it to Joe because I had lifted a pad and a trace connection on the power board.
I got the amp back and had it running for about 6 months when it went down again. The boards in this amp had both been reworked too many times so I bought new boards and just started over.
I will say that the mods really took these amps to a new level. Now all that I have to do is get them to work.
