Can someone give me the part # of any seller that carries the fuse for my SCA35? I have bought a 250v 1a from Radio Shack and it doesn't turn on. But as a tester, I have a 125v 15a and it works.
Thank you
Follow Ups:
NEVER install a larger fuse than recommended, in the case of the SCA-35, a 2 amp slow blow.
"Testing" (even for "just a second") with a larger fuse (in your case, 13 amps larger!) can destroy your power transformer, output transformers, or both. Hopefully that hasn't already happened, since you posted that your capacitors went up in smoke.
Below is a link for the correct fuse. Radio Shack should have it in stock. If not, google Digi Key, or Mouser. You want a 2 amp, 250 volt slow blow fuse, 1 1/4" x 1/4".
Don't even go 0.5 amp larger than that. Save your equipment (and perhaps your house and yourself) from the dumpster. Don't destroy it in your enthusiasm to get it running. Take your time, and follow the advice of the people who are trying to help you. Follow it exactly.
Good luck with it.
You might check the fuse's continuity with a multimeter to see if it is blown. It might be. I looked at the original manual, and it specifies a 2 ampere slo-blo fuse, which I would think you should be able to get at Radio Shack. If you blow the 2A fuse, troubleshooting of the amp is in order. Don't use a fuse larger than 2A.If you do not have a copy of the original manual, here's a link:

250v 2a went in and everything is going well. The EFB mod is done and it sounds beautiful.
Thanks everyone for all your help.
