I have a muse 9 sig. Using as a transport only via the bnc out to a DCS Delius dac. Sounds pretty darn good to me. The dac was a major step up.

Hi Walter, the DCS Delius just absolutely blew the dac section of the 9 sig away. Much better dynamics, soundstage, air, detail, everything. This comment in no way says anything bad about the nine sig, I loved it for 2 years. The DCS though is in a whole different league-and of course in a whole different price point.
