    I was going to say something to this effect when I read this yesterday. There is no point to a schematic when the board is stuffed with tiny devices that you can't source nor service.

    I think you are 100% correct.
    
    Even HSU Research won't cough up a schematic for the amp in my sub which is WAY out of warranty and certainly not some kind of miracle circuit. I call BS.
    
    And it's not as much the lack of Schematic as the ATTITUDE of both Cambridge Audio and HSU, that I am some sort of captive customer.
    
    Years ago....like early 70s or so? Friend in the dorm had a very nice receiver......Pioneer? Sony? I can't remember which, BUT the book it came with? COMPLETE schematic and I think even a board layout.

      I don't know if they still do it but many Japanese companies had complete service manuals for their gear. This included large fold-out schematics. Man, trying to find a schematic these days is nearly impossible.

  DACMagic + started maybe 2012 or 2013.
  So a manual from 2008 is Way Early and probably for the Dac Magic....oroigina model which is electrically quite a bit different than the 'PLUS'.
