Thanks i've been looking for something that works with raspberry PI that is only a network streamer. I don't need the dac. Is what you are using just the streamer?
Follow Ups:
Yes. The Raspberry Pi can be used as a streamer only but there are a couple different options. The RPi board by itself with one of its USB ports driving a USB DAC.
If the DAC does not have a USB input you can add a SPDIF board on top of the RPi and use the SPDIF output to drive a DAC that has a SPDIF input.
And you don't have to run Roon. Inmate Cut-Throat runs piCorePlayer and LMS with his Raspberry Pi based streamers. You might see him here and he's often in the Computer Audio asylum.
These are a couple Raspberry Pi based streamers that use the USB output from the Pi to drive my USB DAC. Both RPi are identical except for the case I chose.
Here's the Allo DigiOne SPDIF board that plugs-in on top of the RPi to give you SPDIF output.
Here's one of my Raspberry Pi's with the Allo DigiOne board on top.
And of course, you can buy the Raspberry Pi, DigiOne board, case, and software ready to boot from Allo. This would be the Allo DigiOne Player that I linked to in my previous post.

If you are going to use a Raspberry Pi as a streamer with USB output to the DAC, make sure you get a RPi 4. The USB output of the RPi 3 is flaky.
OTOH, if you use a DAC or Digi HAT on a RPi for analog or SPDIF output to the amp or DAC, then the RPi 3 works just fine. (I've got two RPi 3 players with HiFiBerry Hats - one DAC, one Digi - that work great as Squeezebox players under LMS.)
Yup, I started a while back with the Raspberry Pi 3 and the Allo DigiOne SPDIF card. That was reliable while USB on the Pi 3 was flaky.
Along comes the Raspberry Pi 4 with redesigned Ethernet and USB. USB is rock solid on the Raspberry Pi 4 so that's what I use now. It allows the streamer to be smaller (no SPDIF board on top) and cheaper (no SPDIF board to buy).
