For the record, I don't believe there is any BS or conspiracy.
What folks need to get through their heads, especially the MQA brigade, is that if you are going to support Tidal streaming, you are by default going to support MQA. It is a no brainer.
One comment if I may, I do find it a little off putting the number of firmware updates you have instituted. It seems excessive to me, and tells me that the final sound is a moving target. Just my two cents.

Your two cents are always welcome. The last firmware update we did, Torreys, was a year ago. Ted's been working hard for the last year making improvements and figuring out new ways to get better sound.
Without question you are correct. It is a moving target as are all DACs, which is why manufacturers that keep up with technology change models. The beauty of our system is that owners of our DAC get to upgrade for free.
But, it's clearly not for everyone. And, to be sure, not everyone upgrades either.
