Hi ahendler.
Having recently sold my Audio-gd Reference 7.1 DAC I knew Kingwa kept a manual of his different components onsite. I posted a link to your Audio-GD Master 7 DAC manual down below. I hope it's of some help for you in the future.

When I tried my Master 7 at true NOS, I had phase trouble with 16/44.1 material... higher res was fine.
I needed to use a test CD to ultimately confirm this, but it drove me crazy for a while due to much of my files are high res, so the (not so noticeable) out of phase effect seemed to be intermittent.
I ended up using the "warmest" jumpers setting from the Audio-GD website, which I think is actually 2X oversampling, and this worked so well I eventually changed my Master 7 to the NOS 7 model.
This site helped a lot to understand the settings also:

Of course there has been some confusion with what is true NOS on the master 7
I do it ths way
Bypass- jumper off
IPSO jumper on
IPS1 jumper on
According to KingWa this is NOS
No phase problems what so ever
When I asked King Wa should I get the NOS 7 he said it would be a sideways move and not to do it
Either way the Audio-GD stuff is really special
Alan
Thanks for the additional comments Alan...
I tried this today with my NOS7 (removing the BYPASS jumper)
Wow... nice.. now no phase problems using my Tanly DDC via i2S.
Sometime I need try this with my SU-1 also..
