I wasn't aware that USB flash drives had a resolution. LOL.
It's interesting after the major discussion about the relevancy of CD technology we are hearing about dead ones. If your CD player dies and you don't want to update to newer technology I have one word for you ....Goodwill.

Sorry! I meant high-capacity flash drives. ;-)
While I take a different tack by storing my digital library on a hard drive (along with 250 movies), I'm able to backup the contents to a single 256 GB USB flash drive. And I also have an Oppo player which can stream content from my server. The advantage being that multiple systems can simultaneously access the same library without having to update multiple copies.
Nine thousand jewel boxes in the palm of your hand is a pretty amazing concept. :)
