Charles,You mention to use wood blocks under all cables, does that pertain to real hardwood floors as well or just carpeted floors? Thanks in advance for your response and it is great having you here on our forum.

Wood blocks makes a bigger difference if the floors are carpeted. But you will still notice an improvement on wood floors. I don't know why this would be, but it has been corroborated by several other posters.
