I haven't been able to find too much info on how the marantz sounds. I am thinking about buying one to replace my ah 4000 with upsampler. A good cd player but am itching for something new. I would buy the marantz for redbook performance with the thinking that down the line having trl mod it. Is it good enough stock that it will compete with the ah 4000? thanks for any help
