Is anyone else's October 2016 Stereophile missing pages 62-86? I have pinged Stereophile but I have not received a response.

Well done. Well done. :)
I would guess your wife picked it up at the mailbox and saw the quipment ratings section and knew this was going to cost money. So she snipped it.

My speaker building site
to get my free copy.
Or maybe by then it's November's edition?
Picked up an earlier edition (August 2016) at the gym the other day.
Much better magazine than the Feb. 2016 Absolute Sound I managed to liberate from the gym about a month ago, and more recent as well.
Lots of TT stuff along with a review of the new version of the Technics SL-1200GAE '50th Anniversary Edition'.
AND...
A profile/interview of Charlie Hansen?
It's true!
And a review of the PSB 'Imagine a full range, floor standing loudspeaker for under $10K' T3 by JA himself!
All for the price of a off-hours monthly gym subscription!

JA,
These guys are complaining about a few missing pages in their copies of the October 2016 issue of Stereophile and I haven't even received my copy yet.
What gives?

As I said in my email yesterday, the October issue went in the mail just
over a week ago and yours may well arrive soon.
But as I also said, I will put an October issue in the mail to you and if
you end up with 2 copies, please pass the spare on to someone else.

Great as always- JA.

How is that for attentiveness.....the EDITOR no less!
Could take them awhile to figure out an action plan. It will depend on how many complaints they get and what their printer has to say. There's store copies as well.
They always print extra so hopefully they can replace your's.
However it's also possible they may just extend your subscription by one issue and/or send you a digital copy.
If you like to keep your hard copy collection intact, consider buying one off the stand as an insurance policy until you hear from them.
Cheers!
