If you don't like a reviewer's approach, don't read it. There are countless publications to choose from. Each has their own style and approach to component review. If you already know that you have issues with a reviewer's style, why torment yourself? Personally I find that Stereophile doesn't do it for me but I'l pick up the occasional copy if they are reviewing something specific of interest. If I read something in there that I don't like, I'm not surprised, but I'm not totally pissed about it either.
