. . . from the third movement. I wish more performances would at least include that movement too. :-(
But you're right: the hard part is the finale! ;-)
Follow Ups:
That was meant as a Joke,
the "Unfinished" part is the hardest...!!
That's why everyone stops there.
I've played it, and also the Great C Major Sym, which, with all the repeats, is a LONG BLOW.
Musically Speaking!

. . . third movement's "near finished" state of completion. I returned to what I hoped was the spirit of your post when I mentioned the fourth movement. (Although one "solution" to "finishing" the Unfinished Symphony is to steal a particular movement from the "Rosamunde" incidental music and make that the "finale" of the Unfinished. Certainly, the key structure works out if you do this.)
BTW, as you probably know, "The Unfinished" is not Schubert's only unfinished symphony. On the Marriner set of the Schubert Symphonies, there's a whole disc of Schubert's other unfinished symphonies, a couple of which seem like they might be even more compelling works than "The Unfinished" - however, they're in an even less finished state than that work is. There's also a big, fairly late piano sonata (in C major) which is also sometimes called "The Unfinished". I don't know, it seems that that guy had this penchant for not finishing things! ;-)
