Haven't listened to it yet though. But as everyone here knows, I'm always happy to obtain MORE Shostakovich! LOL!
"because you can't have too much!"
.. More Martinu. I'll bet nearly everyone on this forum needs more of his music - even if they don't realise it yet.

More indeed.
I had a couple of Supraphon releases of the Martinu Cello Concertos, but, as with the Violin Concertos, the Supraphons were recorded in somewhat of a watery manner, and I'm expecting this Poltera BIS recording to be engineered with more focus (again, just as they did with Zimmermann's recording of the Martinu Violin Concertos).
It is worth noting that the downloads from Supraphonline are often .WAV files and so far they sound rather good. A new Martinu has just arrived. Price is attractive too.

That one hasn't showed up on QOBUZ as yet but according to Amazon it's a pre-order item with a release date of Aug. 3.
Release date for the download is September 10th. It can be pre-ordered and they email you when it is available to download. All in Czech of course - which I don't read but one can make a good guess!
Dave
I'd expect it to be up on QOBUZ by next weekend.
