I posted a few days ago asking about different brands of ready-made 89259 cables; people suggested rhinocables, heartlandscables, etc. Prices are about the same, though much more for Signal with bullet plugs.
Which are the preferred connectors for these cables?
Bluejeans uses Canare.
BTW: Regarding he Techflex that Bluejeans uses, is this the rope-like covering many cables use or does it actually bind the L and R cables together?
Vampire, Bullet, Cardas, WBT...the choice is yours. I believe many different people on this forum have had good luck with all of the above connectors. The Canare RCAPs for analog audio haven't gotten great reviews - they seem to be better suited for video and digital audio coax designs.
Myself, I've had good luck with Cardas - the GRMO connector is extremely high quality and gives a great sound. Other than that, it seems the most popular these days is the Eichmann.
As far as Blue Jeans and TechFlex goes, I believe they are bundling the cables together using it, but I'm sure if you asked them, they could cover the wires individually, but it would cost twice as much.
Hope this helps!
