Hi Guys. Does anyone have any experience with the vondita x? Have also come across "xe". This there a difference or is it the same thing. I've shortlisted them and am hoping for any feedback on how they sound in general. Will use it for my dac/streamer. Seeking something fast, detailed and open... extended and very clean top end. Thanks.
Sorry, I've got no experience with that one. Although pretty sure you won't go wrong with either. I've been an Oyaide fanboy for going on 20 years. All outlets, cables and connectors 100% Oyaide. Use Tunami from wall to regenerator, and then Mamba V2 for all other AC delivery purposes. Been very happy with the setup. Only recco I could give would be to stay more to straight copper connectors. The palladium plated ones are also excellent.
After you've had it a while, check back and let us know what you think. The Vondita is relatively new in their lineup for them, so not many have probably had chance to try it.
Thanks Sondek. Really appreciate your help. How does the tunami compare to the black mamba sigma v2?
Although I've not used Tunami on a source component, since they use the same wire, and essentially the same connectors, I imagine they sound very much the same.
Thus my 98% comment.
IME, outlets have far more impact to sound than pc's.
After reading and re-reading the descriptions on the Oyaide site, it looks to me like the X and Xe are the same cable. The X has US type connectors, and the Xe has Schuko (Euro) connectors.
