14 AWG is much larger than needed, since there is very little current draw. A high-level signal converted to a low-level signal can be achieved with a substantially smaller gauge conductor.
I suggest Belden 5504UE for the application. It is a 6-conductor 22 AWG solid core copper cable with polypropylene dielectric and PVC jacket. Connect the cable using two conductors wired side-by-side, meaning two adjacent conductors for each polarity, just like a 3-conductor power cord but using two conductors instead of one. This will achieve a 19 AWG aggregate/effective gauge run for each polarity. It should perform very well for the task, ABliss.

Thanks Duster, looks like a very good option. Should be a easy fit in the speakon plug also.
You might like to cover the cable in braided sleeving, perhaps in a tone that blends into the floor/carpet color it may be run across.
This design is neutral and will provide a level of camouflage, but the creative geometry won't look like the cable is trying to appear like a tacky snake on the floor.
