Thanks Duster, I've seen those Eizz plugs on Ali and they look great, I was hoping for something that wouldn't require soldering as I prefer the sound of unsoldered connections when it comes to speakers. That being said, I supposed I could turn around the "eye" a few times with the bare wire before applying solder?..
Follow Ups:
You should quickly solder the wiring only at the very end of the contact, on only one side, just like a solder platform of an RCA connector. You want to keep heat away from the plastic insulation to avoid melting it. That's why the end of the contact extends so far away from the insulation.
You can use the quick disconnect I pointed to for a solderless connection. It's the same type of connector used to connect internal wiring to loudspeaker drivers. The binding post contact is designed to accept one. It's easy to crimp, so no worries about having to use a heavy-duty crimping tool for the task.
Ooooh I get it now! I didn't know why you included a link for the little crimp connector ^^now I see! Thanks Duster :-)
