I found this an interesting read. and agree. expensive doesn't mean better. byegolly, did you see my thread about ETI? I have their Q1000 interconnect and it's the best i've heard so far. their hybrid bullet technology is so unique and it works, makes everything sound so natural. best thing is that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I challenge you to find an RCA connecter in the same price bracket that outstrips the Bulletplug!
I ACCEPT THAT CHALLENGE,,,It happens that a GIVE AWAY brown cable by early MARANTS company had the same sonic charactoristics.. MARANTZ packed a pair of these cables with each unit they sold.
I said RCA connector, that outstrips the bullet plug for it's price.
You gave me a free cable giveaway that has "the same sonic characteristics". not an RCA connector with proven results.
I like the concept behind the Coconut Audio products. aside from the fact they are using crystal, the power cable and "single ground pin" seem rather coincidentally like the ETI power filter system on their AC cable and just like WBT... ETI came up with the single point ground pin idea first and it's still used now.
Im not too sure about the sonic properties of the amount of different materials used in their ground pin though... they say
"Our grounding tweaks contain a proprietary mixture of aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, potassium and various crystal formulas that creates a 0.06mA suction force where the noise is destroyed using a natural piezoelectric resonance conversion."
sounds like mumbo jumbo... since when can sound be "suctioned"???
These guys may have something to offer
There's no such thing as my "last one" in audio.
