Follow Ups:
Hi.My phono IC is a 1-ft only long twisted pair of solid 4N silver conductors, in PTFE tubing & polyolefin jacket. NO shield. Air-TIGHT both end with non-magnetic gold-plated silver soldered screw-tight terminations. NO exotic brandnames stuff involved.
It take every details to get best sound from the best materials.
I love its sound, well balanced & musical.

..........AudioQuest LeoPard DBS phono cable BUT this is in my system with my chosen components and U should not expect the same inky black backgrounds, completely grainless highs, open/airy soundstage and very articulate but a little light bass.I have tried quite a few phono cables and the LeoPards are my choice....especially when hard wired right into the step-up trannies :-)
Cheers,
You still digging the Audioquest DBS ICs? Do you have any knowledge about the new line - Colorado, Columbia, et al and wether there's that much of an improvement over the previous models? I'm icthin' to try the DBS and am wondering where to start, though prices on the previous models seem to be lowering and that may be the most "rational" place to begin, budgetwise.Gracious!

Yes, I am still enthralled with the AQ DBS IC's but have not heard their new line yet. There are killer deals on the old line right now and the best cable to start with that will give U a real good taste of the DBS would be the Panther IC.
The Cable has a 1m pair for $350.
Cheers,
