I am wondering if anyone tried the following cables:MC-Gold
First Ultimate
Second
Integration HybridI'm particularly interested how the older MC-Gold would rate against more modern cables from VdH? I remember it has some great reviews but it was and still is dearer due to more expensive material (such as gold) used.
Follow Ups:
The Orchid, their latest IC would be worth trying as well. More expensive than the First Ultimate.

I have never heard the MC Gold so I can not comment. The First Ultimate is a vast improvement over the First and is excellent in all areas. It is a little bright and may still induce some chassis loop hum like the First in some systems. The Second has extended treble, better stereo width and depth but less smooth than the First. Both cables are a bit restrained in dynamics. The Integration Hybrid is a marvellous cable with great transparency, openness, focus and neutrality. It has better resolution and dynamics than the First Ultimate and its stereo images are also wide and deep. Among them, the Integration Hybrid is the winner.

Thanks Chang,These are very interesting remarks. I really wouldn't expect Integration Hybrid to be a winner over the two more expensive VdH cables.
I am very curious about old MC-Gold. It has been always a top of the range cable, especially price-wise but I haven't met a single user.
