I am shopping for used cables on Audiogon. I am in no hurry so
I am looking for recomendations within a certain price range.
I listen only to clasic rock and 80s music. Currently I am
using Original Monster Cable Speaker cable and M500 ICs.
Current System:

Linn Classik (Used as a CD and preamp)
Halfer 9180 (150W/ch mosfet)
ADS 1290 S2 (upgrading as soon as I can figure out what to buy)
(Thinking Axiom, Linn Ninka, NHT 3.3 or Shearwaters)

I am thinking:

Speaker Cable: (Budget about $200 used 4 to 6 foot pair)
Analysis plus oval 9
Transparent Audio
ICs: (Budget about $100-$150 used for a 1 Meter pair)
Cardas
Analysis Plus
Transparent Audio

Just looking for advice on what good value cables are out there
in this price range used...

It's been a while since I last tried the Linn Classik. Bu anyway, I strongly recommend keeping the interconnects and speakers from the same brand.
A combination of Kimber Timbre-0147 and 4TC is an excellent budget beginning. I also liked Nordost Blue Heaven, which never sounds fat. And that is exactly what we hard core hi-fi rockers need. Wireworld's Atlantis series (the 5 is now being discounted) is a nice match.
With my Linn pieces, I didn't quite like my XLO Ultra 1/6; AQ Quartz/Indigo; Monster IL-400/Original; MIT Terminator 2.
Hint: the NHT 3.3, when properly set up in a large enough room, kicks ass.
