Male Schuko to 2-pole plug connection problem

Hello,
I just received a power conditioner with 2-pole outlet plug. I intend to use it with a Schuko/IEC cable. What is the best solution?
I can force the Schuko some milimeters and the equipment works.
Should I try a much better contact or live with it?

Hello, thank you.
I know there are adapters but I didnt want to use two
extra connectors. I thought the best would be to open and
solder cables and attach a female Schuko, then I could perhaps attch a ground cable to the chassis. But I am not sure if this would affect the purpose of the equipment.
It is a German equipment, called Netzfilter. The one I have is Clear in the webpage below.

What about the ground? There are simple .. - Garth 13:31:15 08/05/06 (0)
2 prong Euro plug-to-Schucko adapters but the ground will still not be connected with it anyway.
What kind of power conditioner is this?
