I presently use DH Labs Q10 -single wire with Q10 jumpers to tweeter ( Bryston amp-PSB speakers ) and find it very good value for the money. It has a strong midbass and bass( but not overdone ) with an open , clear mid and treble. I used a double run of 4TC- basically very similar to 8 TC in a different sytem and was also very pleased with it. Although I would choose the Q10, I think both of these cables are excellent and superior to what you are using now.Also two great companies to deal with.
