Woo Hoo! Thanks for all the Quickie orders! We'll be packing and shipping just as fast as we can. We may have just about run through the first batch of chassis plates, and we'll get some more going ASAP.I'm working on a system that will allow you to download the assembly manual in PDF form from the downloads section of the shopping cart once your order is approved. The setup is a little complex and it's presenting a bit of a challenge to get working. If it doesn't come together by the weekend we'll ship the first batch of kits with the manual on a CD ROM included.

Doc,
Great news regarding the brisk sales. I am really looking forward to receiving my Quickie. I think my wife is going to have mixed feelings about the pre-amp. I think she will love the name, I say this as one of her favorite wines for general consumption is Gnarly Head Zin.
If all goes well I may have to buy 3 more for my children to use with there iPOPs.

Congrats on a successful launch!
At this price, someone would almost have to have a personal beef with you guys not to buy one! I've got a couple of spare preamps but I'll have to buy one just to experiment with guilt free.
Congratulations ! ! ! ! ! ! $99 is a great price for the times.
I can't wait to have a battery powered preamp and phono preamp :) The battery power convinced me with my Hagerman Bugle.
High sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low distortion, and smooth frequency response. Pwk

What is an Ack Dac? Do you have any links.

I'd wait around for the Bottlehead DAC.
Triamp... Take a load off!
It is a battery powered DAC for playing red book CDs. I use mine with a higher end DVD player. I love it.

If you are willing, the older 1.x models can bought even cheaper and they are worth every farthing.
