I have replaced the original AN copper foil caps by the Aura-Teflon 0.1uF 600V.
They are the best investment that I have done !! That's true.

This is exactly what I have experienced with the V-Cap CuTF! Unmusical! I let them play for LONG time, but didn't like them at all as coupling caps in the 5687 line stage. After that I tried the Duelund VSF-Cu DC caps and I couldn't be happier. As detailed as the V-Caps, but I got the "musicality" back. As good as it gets in my opinion. I didn't try silver, but I tend to don't like silver anywhere in the signal path...

Thank you everyone for your input. So far, I've tried AN Ag, VCap CuTF in my L3 pre. I have also tried An Cu and Sonicap Platinum on the 5687 board of DAC 3.1 Sig.
So far, I like CuTF but there are times I find the sound to be "too neutral" like distilled water as opposed to good mineral water. I guess, I might as well go all the way, bite the bullet and try Duelund VSF Cu DC ;)

The Russian Teflon caps do not have a good reputation, so I understand this.
The V-cap do require a long burn-in period: it is mandatory and the sound is not balanced when not burned in.
Be also aware that different models of V-cap exist and do not sound the same: the original (i.e the first model) is the best in my opinion.
The Aura-T (be aware that Aura also manufactures non teflon caps) are the best in my opinion.
The teflon caps must not be used in every place of a circuuit: they have a sonic signature (like every cap) and too many teflon caps can be too much...
If you do not like teflon caps, a frien of mine has installed the audionote Silver caps and his feedback is more than very positive...
All the best,
Yes AN silver caps that are the caps i like and that is what i use now.
