Hi all new guy here. Got this amp just curious on thoughts as to fix or not? Powers up makes the click but no sound from speaker outputs. Thank you in advance
I had one of their turntables. It was a nice unit, in fact. Belt drive, arm with counterweight for anti-skating. For an inexpensive unit, and for someone on a late-1970s budget, it performed well enough.
Woo! There is a blast from the past. JC Pennys in store brand from the 80's. Used to see them at Goodwill all the time until about 10 years ago. Considered high end by almost no one. Easily bested by any Kenwood, Pioneer, Sherwood, etc. from that time period.
My advise. Put that amp back where you found it.
Thanks for your response. I had this amp tuner and eq.for 15 years sound was great put in tote last summer put in shed. Wouldn't you know the rx I picked up when out last week.
Had this about 20 years ago. Seemed super cool at the time. Ended up replacing it with a much less cool looking Kenwood amp that sounded much better.
