Which amp?

Hell Rick, there's your answer.

...selling it for more than he paid.
That would definitely be wrong.
Quoting his own review in the ad seems a little sketchy.
In fact, back in the old days at TAS we had to agree not to sell a piece of equipment we purchased for at least a year and not to sell it for more than we paid.
I think each manufacturer or distributor sets their own guidelines for how long a purchased review piece must be held before it is sold. Some don't care, others may ask that you keep it for up to a year.
Manufacturers will sometimes try to 'plant' equipment with 'regular folk' who are not reviewers with the unspoken agreement that you will 'chat up' their product on forums like the Asylum. It's happened to me a few times but I've declined.
I wish someone would dump a $10k amp on my doorstep.Reviews are pretty much useless. Unless a stereo actually blows up in there face and burns their hair off - it's all the best stereo they've ever had.
Remember I was once again looking for something to buy. Well I STILL didn't buy anything and I have little desire to buy anything. I guess I really am happy with what I have. The Passlabs was on my short list for a while but - ah!

I'm always looking at gear in catalogs and online but I'm very happy with what I have right now so I tell myself I don't need any new audio gear. I either save the money or spend it on other hobbies. I don't know why but LED flashlights have become an obsession here. That's probably a good thing as they are not as expensive as audio toys. ;-)
Can you recommend some good LED flashlights? I'm always on the lookout for a good, affordable flashlight.
Happy listening,

I just received a Fenix TK16 LED flashlight.
It has 4 light levels with turbo being 1000
lumens that projects 240 meters. The strobe
has two patterns that will definitely disorient
a bad guy. It is a quality flashlight. It has
gold plated springs at both ends which I think
is good engineering. I also have a PD35 TAC
flashlight but I like the TK16 better. I use
a rechargeable 18650 3500 ma battery.
There are so so many excellent LED flashlights out there. I like the ones that use 18650 or 26650 rechargeable Li-ion batteries.
There are several on Amazon.
Here's one that I just got and it nearly made my wife sick! It's a UV flashlight. Shine it on the bathroom floor in the dark and see what you failed to thoroughly sanitize! Shine it outside and find critters that glow in the dark. Take it with you on your next trip to checkout your hotel room bedding. Link below. I was very surprised at how well it works considering it's bargain price.

I was going to ask Abe the same question.
