Of the two you would lean more towards the 60 over the 30a?
Follow Ups:
I own the 60.Its a very nice amp My original plan was to get the XA-30.8, but I needed more power. I didn't consider the INT-30, since I wasn't overly interested in the .5 series. The .8 series is more linear and has a better power supply.

the XA-30.8 can produce that kind of power when it goes into AB. From the 6moons review:
"On a forum, I found Pass Labs' own man Desmond quoted as saying that "the XA30.8 will output 90 watts @ 1% into 8Ω"
John Atkinson found a similar situation with the XA-60.5 since it has the current. Just not into Class A at that output.
Yea, I remember hearing that. I still like the preamp section though-much better fine volume control than my passive.
Jack
as I've indicated before, I would go for the power amp version of the 60, the XA-30.8 with the same power for considerably less coin. Mate that with your tube preamp.
I'd pass (no pun intended) on the older design.
Very interesting and some thing I will seriously think about. I like this idea the most.
