The INT-30A is basically the 30.5 with a passive preamp built in. 30 watts of class A power.
The INT-60 is based on the .8 series, hence it's weight. 60 Watts, the first 30 are class A. The preamp portion is active.

I wasn't too impressed with the sound of the INT-150 which was based on the X150.5 amp with a passive preamp. I think it was the passive preamp that killed the sound of the INT-150.
I owned the X150.5 and X2.5 separates. I thought I would save space by replacing the pair with the INT-150. Big mistake. The INT-150 didn't have the dynamics of the separates. It was OK but kind of polite and bland sounding. I think it was the passive preamp that ruined it. Sold it.
the INT-150 is a nearly decade old product. The current integrated design use a different JFET buffer circuit on the front end and volume control. Along with a host of other refinements since the 2003 era X150.5.
I think Nelson got it after the first run. :)
Of course there's room for improvement and I certainly hope that is the case with the more recent breed of integrated amps from Nelson. In comparing comparable era Pass separates that I owned (X150.5 & X2.5) vs the INT-150, I think he missed the mark with the INT-150. Hopefully corrected in current gen integrated amps from Pass.
Of course all the mainstream audio magazines had nothing but praise for the INT-150. Who would bash something from Nelson Pass after all? Chock that up for another reason to rarely ever put faith in audio magazine reviews. In my book, the INT-150 was a dud. I have a few other such experiences. Live and learn. ;-)
