Big, big thanks to Beach Cruiser. The sliders did seem to have to do with spring tension, but it's nice to hear from someone who has used it. Do both sliders do the same thing, or is one a finer adjustment than the other?

I think I have the height about right. As soon as I get the chance, I'll fiddle with placement, attachment and spring tension and report back.

In answer to your question, I've been looking for one of these for some time. I paid $95. Do you feel rich?

No such device is being made now. The eBay and Agon asking prices for the Audio Technica device and The Lift are well above $100 now. So I decided to stop worrying and go ahead. It's only money.
