A year ago at Christmas I bought my seven year old daughter one of those simulated old fashion record players,(with the build in speakers), and an assortment of old pop records. Beach Boys, Bangles, Go Go's, etc.. We now have a great time going to the used record stores. It's a great Dad/Daughter thing that is really inexpensive. She recently told me that: "I bet if I had bigger speakers and some of the tubes you have it would sound much better".
She's already starting down that slippery slope.
