Thanks for you answers. I have learned quite a bit and that there was another Model called The AR Turntable. I have recently looked at two turntable and from what I've seen and what Goyescas responded, they both appear to be The AR Turntable. Your description of the stocker tonearm explains why both of the arms on those tables did not have any markings to identify them as an MMT.Initially I wanted to get an ES-1. An ETL-1 would be better but not realistic since I've never actually seen one for sale or a picture of one. I would say that in stock form that there is not much differnce through the speakers amoung the ES-1, EB-101, and The AR Turntable.
I'm assuming that The AR Turntable is basically an ES-1 with may be the exception of the motor?
Also assuming that all EB-101s will have sqared edges?
