You're going to get a lot of variable answers to the tank solution question.I use Triton X-100 (soap) and 91% isopropyl alcohol. I started out using 1.5 teaspoons Triton and 1.25 cups alcohol for a 6 liter tank of reverse osmosis purified water (from Whole Foods), but have since cut back to 0.5 teaspoon Triton and 0.5 cup alcohol. I could probably get away without a post-rinse, but my process is to towel dry after cleaning, then purified water rinse and vacuum after that.
