Not to pile on for the sake of it, but I've been done with AS since 2005 or so.

At that point I called AS about a Classic reissue LP that arrived pretty severely dish-warped, because I didn't think I should be responsible for the cost of returning a defective item that they sold to me. Chad hisself got on the phone to tell me that warps etc are part and parcel of owning records, and not defects at all.

When I reported that I still have many hundreds of LPs I bought beginning in the early 70s and not one of them is dish-warped the response was dead silence. While to me it was as obvious as having been shipped a pine cone instead of a 6DJ8 tube that I bought, it was clear that there was no interest on the part of AS in making it right and standing behind the product.

So rather than pay shipping twice for a product that was defective, I kept it. It was my last purchase from AS, and I have to say that I've not had a similar experience from any other LP vendor.

Jim
