You can also try Fred at Marrs Communications. Send him an email with your model number and he should be able to send you a quote for a belt set for your unit. Have bought tape deck belts from him in the past and have been very happy. His belts come from OE suppliers in Japan. He sells deck and cd unit belts on the bay also.
As for the unit I love my Yammie CD players. Have a CDX-510, CD-575 and a CD-845. CD-1000 should be a very nice unit and worth a new belt set. Would like to get one down the road myself.
