If they are early Model 6's the only way to get them apart is to drive a screw into the front panel and use a slide hammer to pull the front panel off. At least on mine the woofer surround and basket are glued directly to the front baffle so you cannot take the woofer out, so the only way to access the xover is to pull the whole front baffle off. If your's has a removable woofer then by all means remove the woofer instead. Be careful because the inductor is mounted to the inside of the front panel so when you drive the screw into the front panel you could damage it, I think I placed the screw between the woofer and tweeter near the center of the baffle.
