Hello all. Searched the archives, but couldn't locate an answer to my question so, I thought I'd ask here. I orderd a Volex power cord that I plan to hardwire to my Denon DCM440 changer. Because my stock cord is a 2 prong type and the ground wire not being used in the Volex cord, should I remove the ground prong from the end of the plug? Also, for those that are using the Volex, are you keeping the stock plug end that comes attached to the Volex cord or replacing it with something of better quality? Finally, Is there a minimum length for a shielded power cord to be effective?
