Here's the problem with damping in my experience. If you have two sheets of 0.3mm thick Fo.Q 32 and another two sheets of 1mm thick Fo.Q 102, there's the temptation to over-damp in order to fully exploit the $121.53 cost of importing them through eBay from Kyoto and consequently miss the best results. That's not a risk with Marigo Audio's subtle Green or White Dots.
But, if you are curious about Fo.Q, I recommend starting with 0.03m thick FO.Q 32. Not an equivalent game-changer...
