I've tried those cables. They were good but BRIGHT!!! In all though MUCH better than many other more expensive cables (although I'll never give up my Jon Risch Beldens now that I've made that switch).

I do have all the stuff to make them again, but they're far to delicate. Perhaps there's something I'm missing in the design, but mine kept breaking. The magnet wire is just far too flimsy and any sort of tension snaps them like twigs. Really, I was having a difficult time soldering the ends and then getting the cables upstairs to my stereo and plugged in before the wire would break. I couldn't unplug them without breaking at least one of the wires. I just need something more reliable. I tried attaching the "jacket" (3M tape) to the RCA to take the load with only moderate success. I couldn't really find a way to attach them firmly and provide strain relief.
