Since my biasing method was the simplest resistor pulldown method, the effort was not great. I perceive a slight improvement in warmth, but in so many cases with the LM6172 it's the attention to power supply (eg. bypass with stacked film caps, very close to the power supply pins) that makes the difference. In most cases I've ended up happier with OPA2132/2134s, similarly biased.
