Well, i have this annoying buzz similar to a cricket like buzz. I have the input rca jack directly linked to the input grid without a grid stopper. In previous SE builds with 6sn and sl7 i have not had this issue and that is at least 4 amps. Also other SE amps with 12at7 input tube also sans grid stop resistor, no issues. So, i suspect the 7a4 since it is capable of amplifying at much higher frequencies than the 6sn7. Plate voltage and cathode current are within design parameters.
