That's a can of worms.
Various manu iterations of the same "type" of tube will put out a different voltage. If you consider the circuit as a whole a constant, lets say in this case it is, then the increase or decrease of B+ may give a slightly different tone.
But then again...the wall voltage in (I'm generalizing here) most countries is never a "fixed" amount. I've seen my wall voltage go from a "normal" 125VAC up to a short term 140VAC. So, even with a line conditioner and line isolator in place...you're going to have variations to the overall equation...no matter what.
So, my question to you my friend, is it at all relevant...a RCA 5U4GA/B vs a GE 5U4GA/B??????
