Tubes Asylum: Tube rectification: Why better? by Insane Cellist Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

I am entering the tube world.
One of the preamps I'm interested in has tube rectification (Decware SE84CSP), the other doesn't (ARC LS-7). One of the other asylum inmates (who I have bugged to death with questions, so posting this instead of asking him another), said that, all things being equal, tube rectification is a good thing. Can anyone explain to me why?
Just wondering for my own edification.
Thanks!
