No problem. I am not entirely concerned about RFI, but also signal and AC (120 and harmonics). Maybe the resistors will not help, but perhaps they will. Since a number of leads into the power tube have ferrite tubes on them, clearly the designer was also concerned about high frequency pickup and instability.

The test points do have some high voltage (430 V DC), and also have some reasonably long runs. I did not read the resistor suggestion on the web, but looking at the circuit raised the possibility of pickup.

As I am rebuilding the amp, I am sticking precisely to the schematic without out trying to second guess why they did something. Some of the circuits look quite odd, but then they were likely done like that for a very good reason. I am not interested in experiencing the reason why these modifications were made. I saw far too many 'smarter' engineers make that mistake when I was working....

I do have an MSEE from UC, but that was long ago and does not qualify for much. Probably still covers the basics though, until dementia sets in. Sometimes intuition is also a powerful tool.
