Great idea ! Some of those switches are lovely. Some can sound scratchy when switching.

Decades ago, I built a universal pp dht amp, with a fave interstage tranny. One row of sockets were octal and one row had five pin for the input/driver tube, plus four pin UX sockets. Yes, this took up space and was a lot of work. Major success, though, as I used a "flip- switch" for the filament voltages. The switch looks like those found in Marantz 7 preamps. Much less noise and better wiper connections
than many slide types.
