The new stocks are ok. You might consider something with less voltage drop provided the amp will permit a little higher b+. I have found the best way to let the magic out of a SE DHT is to put a fine rectifier in front... GZ34, 5AR4 comes to mind...go get yourself a decent used or NOS Mullard GZ34. You will hear the difference. Just a suggestion
