As I've posted for years now, nearly everyone has a metal finishing shop where they live. In three different towns when I explained to the manager my one or two pieces of machined aluminum top plates were for my hobby, they put them in with a regular production run and charged me lunch money, twenty dollars or so.

First time around I asked for powder coat but anodizing is more durable so that's what I get ever since.
