Greetings- I need to build a few heavy duty battery "sleds" to contain a pair of 26650 and/or 18650 lithium batteries. I assume that there is a reasonably priced non- conductive material (1/8-1/4 inch thick) sold in sheets that can be glued/epoxied together to form a small 2 x 3 inch rectangular box. The problem that I'm having with a Keystone sled is that I have to remove the battery contacts to solder (12 and/or 14 gauge wire) due to the high heat required that would otherwise melt the plastic sled. Suggestions on a material and/or a source ?? Thanks, Paul
