I run USA 6l6gc/5881 in Ampex mono's design for el-34 & B+ is well over 500v & in UL. I think I'm running close to 45-50Ma & have been running them for some years now.G/GB & wannabe GC..no way..red plate like a mofo. Real GC or 5881 & all is good. So suspect if your russian tubes are equivelant of the above your good to go. Just do proper bias adjustments & all should be well enough.
